Ingredients

  • 1 tbl butter
  • 1 tbl olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/2 onion , chopped
  • 1/2 red , yellow and green pepper - seeded, cored and diced
  • 1 12 oz package Jack Link's Wild Side Sausage Jalapeno Flavor
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 14.5 oz can petite diced tomatoes
  • 16 oz uncooked rigatoni , ziti or penne
  • 2 cups Monterey Jack cheese , shredded
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet set to medium heat, add in butter and olive oil
  • Remove Jack Link's Wild Side Sausage from package and cut into large slices
  • Add sausage to the pan and stir
  • Add minced garlic, diced peppers and chopped onion to the pan, stir and cook for 4-5 minutes
  • Add to the pan chicken broth, cream, tomatoes, seasonings and bouillon cube
  • Stir to combine and increase heat to High
  • Bring sauce to a boil and pour in uncooked pasta - stir continuously for 1 minute and cover
  • Cook pasta based on manufacturers time listed on pasta box
  • Once pasta is cooked, remove from heat and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese.
  • Top dish with remaining cheese and let cheese melt
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately
