  • 5 chicken breasts uncooked
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 16 ounches pre-made salsa verde
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


  • Add five uncooked chicken breasts to your slow cooker and pour in chicken broth, spices and pre-made salsa verde. Set your slow cooker to Low and cook for 7 - 8 hours.  Once cooked, shred chicken with a fork and let stew in the sauce another 15 minutes.  Remove chicken with a slotted spoon and serve immediately.
