Easy! To make these Dutch Apple Pie Bites, start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees and spread your phyllo cups out on a large baking sheet covered in parchment paper.
Peel, core and dice your apples. To a large skillet melt butter over medium high heat and then add your diced apple along with cinnamon, allspice, salt, vanilla, lemon juice and brown sugar. Stir to combine and cook for 3-5 minutes. Combine the water and cornstarch to create a slurry and add to the skillet. Stir and cook for 1-2 more minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, old fashioned oats, cinnamon then cut in the cold butter. I usually use my hands or two forks to achieve this. Once done, using a spoon gently fill your phyllo cups with the apple pie filling and then crumble the Dutch apple topping on top.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crumble has browned slightly. Remove from the oven and in a medium sized bowl, combine powdered sugar, milk and vanilla and once your icing is made, drizzle over the Dutch Apple Pie Bites. Serve immediately or store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until needed.
