I am pretty routine when it comes to my Chipotle Mexican Grill order. I (happily) order the same thing every time – no exceptions – and this tomato salsa is a Must Have in my burrito bowl. Fresh, flavorful with a kick of spicy, this Chipotle Tomato Salsa is the perfect salsa to have as your go-to recipe for everyday salsa. Serve it up with chips or as a topping to tacos or in a burrito bowl, this Chipotle Tomato Salsa is perfect in every way.
HOW DO YOU MAKE CHIPOTLE TOMATO SALSA?
Start your Chipotle Tomato Salsa with a carton of fresh cherry tomatoes. I like my salsa a bit chunky so I half and quarter all of my cherry tomatoes and move them to a mixing bowl. Next, dice up 1/4 of a red onion and 1/4 cup of cilantro and add them to the tomatoes. Then add in a diced up jalapeno and top the whole thing off with a squeeze of fresh lime juice, stir it all together and you have just made the perfect bowl of Chipotle Tomato Salsa.

Chipotle Tomato Salsa
- 1 carton cherry tomatoes halved and quartered
- 1/4 red onion diced
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 jalapeno stemmed, seeded and diced
- 1 lime juiced
- Half and quarter all of the cherry tomatoes and move them to a mixing bowl. Next, dice up 1/4 of a red onion and 1/4 cup of cilantro and add them to the tomatoes.
- Add in a diced up jalapeno and top the whole thing off with a squeeze of fresh lime juice, stir it all together and you have just made the perfect bowl of Chipotle Tomato Salsa.
