  • Serve over rice and with a slab of cornbread.. trust me!
  • Add some veggies to this soup if you like.. diced carrots, green pepper and celery are the perfect compliment.

I found your recipe while looking for a revamped version of the traditional one & oh my God, thank you, Jesus! This is a flavorful, exciting and delicious treat for your taste buds! The 2nds & 3rds, plus day after reheating were just as fabulous. The spices you added are amazing (1/4 Cayenne pepper, here lol) and came together wonderfully! Used leftover ham bone at Christmas time & today used pork shanks w/ leftover frozen ham!! Smell in the house is divine & so is your recipe!! Thank you, from my husband & me!

  4. What a nasty hot weather means, living in Dubai, I truly understand. I loved the Cajun 15 bean soup. It’s a hearty, loaded with flavours, with a punch from the smoked paprika dish which looks and sounds so delicious, that even I would not take the temperature outside into consideration before cooking it. A must try.

    1. Thanks Piyali! My husband thought I was crazy for making it when there is a heat index of 130 outside but I couldn’t wait!! It was worth it.. haha
