Tips for the Best Garbanzo Bean Salad
- Let It Marinate: Allow the salad to sit for 10-15 minutes for the flavors to meld.
- Make It Heartier: Add quinoa, avocado, or grilled chicken for a more substantial meal.
- Customize It: Swap parsley for fresh basil, toasted pine nuts for pistachios or add olives for extra Mediterranean flair.
- Pickled Red Onions: These can usually be found in the canned veggie aisle of your super market. I grab the sweet pickled red onions and they are not strong.. just a bit tangy! If you choose to leave them out, substitute with a bit of extra fresh red onion instead.
