DO YOU NEED TO MAKE HOMEMADE MEATBALLS?

No, you really don’t need to make meatballs from scratch but you certainly can, if you wish.  I have made these using my Baked Chicken Meatballs but more times that not, I use a couple of bags of frozen meatballs from my local grocery store to save time. What can I say.. those products are there and very popular for a reason and I am appreciate saving the time spent. Easy slow cooker party food is supposed to be easy for a reason 🙂

DO YOU NEED THE JALAPENO POWDER FOR SPICY SLOW COOKER MEATBALLS?

Adding the jalapeno powder to your Slow Cooker Spicy Hawaiian Meatballs is completely up to you.  I like my crock pot meatballs to be a bit extra spicy but you certainly can tame them down a bit by leaving the jalapeno powder out.  The spicy bbq sauce already adds a bit of a kick and the jalapeno powder just raises that a bit more.

HOW DO YOU MAKE SLOW COOKER SPICY HAWAIIAN MEATBALLS?

This couldn’t be easier if you tried!! Add your frozen meatballs to your slow cooker and then pour the crushed pineapple, jalapeno powder and the entire bottle of spicy bbq sauce over the meatballs and stir to combine.  Cover the meatballs and simmer on Low for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
