It’s almost an unwritten rule that if you are having a social gathering of any kind, you better have a mini-crock pot of saucy BBQ meatballs hot, ready and waiting. You can get away with changing up the menu to a point but if those spicy BBQ meatballs aren’t on that table, well .. lets just say that party riots have happened for less. Its just not a party without them. Great music? Yes! Stimulating conversation? Absolutely! Open bar? WOO HOO!!! Meatballs? No??? … party’s a bust! Solution?… Spicy Crockpot Meatballs.
To avoid this disastrous outcome, I hedge my bets. I have one of those 3 pot slow cookers (BEST PRESENT EVER!!) and that gets loaded up with at least two different types of meatballs every time I have people over. This Spicy Crockpot Meatball recipe is my favorite! Its saucy and spicy, sweet and ADDICTIVE… and the best part? It’s easy to put together, it takes all of about 5 minutes to make and it’s only 5 ingredients. FIVE!!!
.. well, technically SIX ingredients but one of those ingredients is garlic so does that even count??? Garlic goes in everything … it’s like air. Or sunshine.
