- Taste and adjust heat by adding more adobo sauce or sugar as needed.
- Remove from heat and pour glaze through a small strainer/sieve to remove all of the chunky bits.
- Move the now smooth glaze to a small bowl and let sit 30 minutes to cool and thicken.

Tip: If you’re cooking a larger ham (like 6 lbs or more), double the glaze recipe to make sure there’s plenty for basting and serving!

- Place ham in slow cooker with 1/2 cup of water, apple juice, or pineapple juice.
- Spoon 1/3 of the glaze over the ham.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or until heated through.
- Brush with additional glaze before serving, or broil for 2-3 minutes for a caramelized finish.
Grill or Smoker Method For small boneless spiral ham (around 4-6 lbs):
- Preheat grill or smoker to 250ยฐF.
- Place ham in a disposable foil pan and spoon 1/3 of the glaze over it.
- Cover the pan with foil and grill/smoke for about 1.5 to 2 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes, uncover, brush with more glaze, and let it get sticky and golden.
Oven-Baked Method For bone in spiral ham (around 7 lbs or larger):
- Preheat oven to 325ยฐF. Place your ham cut-side down in a roasting pan.
- Brush with a bit of glaze and cover with foil.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes per pound.
- Start glazing during the last 20 minutes of baking and reapply every 5 minutes for a flavorful, sticky finish.

- 4-6 pound Boneless spiral ham
- 2 ยผ cups Raspberry preserves
- 2 tablespoons Apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning salt Kinders The Blend is my favorite
- 2-3 Chipotle peppers in Adobe sauce
- 1-2 teaspoons Adobe sauce
- 4 cloves Garlic, smashed
- 1/8 cup Brown sugar
- 1/8 cup Honey
- 1 teaspoon Ground mustard
- 2 teaspoons Soy sauce
Instructions
To Make The Raspberry Chipotle Glaze
- In a small saucepan, combine 2ยผcup raspberry preserves, 2-3 chipotle peppers, 2 to 3 teaspoons adobo sauce, four smashed garlic cloves, 1/8 cup of honey, 1 teaspoon ground mustard, 1 teaspoon seasoning salt, 2 teaspoons of soy sauce, 1/8 cup of brown sugar, and 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
- Simmer over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring often until thick and glossy. Taste and adjust heat by adding more adobo sauce or sugar as needed.
